Dear Author,
We would love to publish all the great books that come into our hands.
But we are at the very start of our journey and unfortunately our finances are limited. Until we grow a little we are unable to accept unsolicited manuscripts.
However, if you feel you have written or are writing a book that is truly out of the ordinary and you have not been able to place it anywhere, send us an e-mail. Please do not send us a sample, much less the entire manuscript. We will not open attachments that we have not requested. Instead, send us an e-mail telling us in a page or two, in your own words and as honestly as you know how, a little about yourself and your book. Do not worry as to your personal circumstances or any such trivia. We are very broad minded. Your personal circumstances are of much less importance to us than the appeal of the work itself. We are not interested in children's books (as yet), manuals of any description, esoterica, textbooks, pornography, lizards and other conspiracy theories. In fiction our preference is for literary novels in all categories and none, and those that are politically incorrect. The same goes for non-fiction. We have a particular interest in books based in Scotland, and the more so if they are related to the Islands and Highlands. We are not interested in anything that sets out to be mass market, run-of-the mill commercial, although the likes of a cook book, a travel book, or a thriller with a twist that is out of the ordinary may attract our attention. If your e-mail chimes with us we may, at that stage, ask you to send us a sample with a view to considering your work for publication.
While we will endeavour to answer all e-mails as promptly as possible we cannot guarantee it. If you have not heard from us within three months you must assume, we are very sorry to say, that we have read your e-mail but have decided we cannot take it further.

Dear Artist
We are primarily book publishers. In due course we hope to publish carefully chosen art books. However, on our website we are also maintaining a section selling a small quantity high quality art. Although we are showing some original artworks in all mediums, our main focus is on POD reproductions. We cannot stock original artworks on our premises. When an artist approaches us ( by e-mail with three sample images attached) and if we agree to display an image of an artist's original work, in order to purchase the original the customer will be referred to the artist for conclusion of the transaction. For high quality POD reproductions, please send us an e-mail with a maximum of three images attached. If we are interested we will reply with terms, and for POD, the method of sale, and you can decide if you wish to join us or not.
As with authors, while we will endeavour to answer all e-mails as promptly as possible we cannot guarantee it. If you have not heard from us within three months you must assume, we are very sorry to say, that we have looked at your images but have decided we cannot take it further.
